The emotional state of rain.
“Rainy days should be spent at home with a cup of tea and a good book.”
“rain is likely to mean that you stay in more and socialize less.”
Rain.. when people tend to think about rain some think joy while others see sadness. Rain to me is more like an iconic sound hearing it drop down on my roof making me feel at peace hearing the silence cry from the world. When rain comes in mind it is more like you can vent your feelings out because you can feel that you aren’t the only person dropping tears. Connecting in a more deeper level with rain can open up new thoughts. What I mean by “ rain can open up new thoughts” is more like rain is there when nobody else could be, it hears you and your thoughts as you hear it venting back to you like a waterfall sometimes. Then we have the people who get “sick” over rain or it is too wet outside to do anything type of people, I have nothing against the fact some people hate rain it is just why hate something that nature makes when without it how could we go with life or much more the oceans? Probably caught you there but, for others rain is a marvelous thing yes sometimes it can make you feel like you have nothing to do but, honestly it can even give you energy to do creative things by yourself to get to know yourself in a way you couldn’t believe yourself to be. Nothing can make you happier than dancing in the rain or playing sports in the rain, so you can’t go saying you hate the rain when you haven’t tried radical things in it. It can bring new ideas, new thoughts to open up to, wonderful things.
A look into my relative’s perspective:
Me: What do you think about when rain comes to mind?
Her: It makes me sleepy but, the thought of not going anywhere and staying in to be warm makes me feel happy.
Me: Why do you feel that way?
Her: I feel that way because when I hear rain it sounds like music hushing me to sleep and it makes me feel happy because the way the rain dances on objects is absolutely amazing.
Me: That is beautiful… what’s the story behind it ?
Her: There is no story, I just have a love/hate relationship with it but it has a magic touch that I love..
So there really is a controversy but that is the emotional state behind rain, so go enjoy it and take a picture while your at it (:
