Fascinating. This past year, my wife and I had the fortune of traveling through Ethiopia, the coastline of Tanzania, and much of Southern India and Sri Lanka.

The similarities in food, dress, and culture were too evident to ignore. I sincerely hope there’s more scholarship where the relationships of these diverse cultures can be highlighted for the betterment of the peoples on both sides of the Indian Ocean.
