Yet, in an age where Baby Boomers hold 80% of household wealth and Millennials are struggling under the astronomical costs of every day life in America, inheritance may be the clearest path to righting the generational wrongs, financially speaking. Unless things change, an across-the-board tax on inherited wealth will be yet another form of punishment-by-policy on Millennials.
I love that you bring forward the point that in our current state of affairs the future seems to be cancelled, and that in previous times the thing that united people was a collective sense of the future they were building together.
I for one am ready to get back to having a future.
