Mac Davis made some major moves before the most anticipated round picking up three horses in partnership with the National Hunt Racing Club. The three Race Horses added to Mac Davis came as a group and finalized the delayed partnership Mac, and the National Hunt Racing Club had. Carrigeen Kampala, a four-year-old filly, was the group’s highlight as she looks to make her way back into the winner’s circle for the National Hunt Racing Club team in the 2023 season. “It’s finally great to be able to add the National Hunt Racing Club as a partner for the season,” said Mac to reporter Jack Parsons of the Racing Observer. “We had discussed having a potential partnership last season, but it got delayed, so it’s good to solidify this season.”

Mac Davis Horse Racing — My Little Toni

My Little Toni joins Mac Davis Stables for the 2023 season and will be trained by Donald McCain, the North’s leading trainer! The two-year-old has had racing experience finishing second in her debut outing and then a trip to the winner’s circle in her second and most recent outing. She also has received support from both the National Hunt Racing Club, who said, “This horse has fallen well under her handicap mark, and we are excited and hopeful of some immediate success.” and Mac Davis, who followed it up by adding, “Not only is My Little Toni a talented horse, she also goes to leading trainer Donald McCain. It’s a great matchup.”

Mac Davis Horse Racing and Dondiam

The final horse to be added to this partnership is Dondiam, a five-year-old bay gelding and the oldest of the three in the group. Dondiam joined National Hunt Racing Club after being bought for £50k at the Tatts sales in April 2021. The Laura Morgan trainee hasn’t raced for the team yet, making him one of the ones to watch for the season on Mac Davis’s stable. “He’s an older horse but is still one of the ones to watch out for this coming season. I hope we can get him out soon, ideally in March.” Mac said about the Diamond Boy-sired horse.

Two more rounds follow soon, with round five as the largest of them, as multiple Grade 1 and championship horses will be up for sale, and Mac and his team look to add a couple to their stable. More updates to come.
