Mistakes were made… reindexing is a bummer


So, the bitcoin full node needed to be full indexing. To do that, I needed to create that a bitcoin.conf file.

Guess who didn’t create said file before downloading the entire bitcoin blockchain on wifi? YEP! This guy!

Side note, since this is on an external hard drive, your data is located in the external hard drive path where you chain data is.

Anyways, I created the file and then put this in as the code:

server=1
rpcuser=your-rpc-user-here
rpcpassword=your-rpc-password-here
txindex=1
zmqpubrawblock=tcp://127.0.0.1:29000
zmqpubrawtx=tcp://127.0.0.1:29000
addresstype=p2sh-segwit

Obviously, I am not going to tell you what my user and RPC pass is. Cause, I don’t have it set up yet. However, that is what I was suppose to do.
