Five of Our Favorite NYC Coffee Shops

Café Grumpy:

Great coffee and good pastries, but the gem of this coffee shop is the cute little garden seating in the back. They have a no-laptop policy, so bring a book or a friend! Grumpy Café forces you to unwind and take a real coffee break. 224 W. 20th St, NY

Gimmy! Coffee:

Simple coffee made great every time! Never too sweet, no frills, and priced just right, they pride themselves on a solid cup of coffee. Multiple places around NYC and Brooklyn

Kaffe 1668:

This café has a cool, hipster vibe, which is clear the minute you step into it’s sheep-themed interior. The staff is friendly, there is always plenty of seating, (two floors!) and free wifi. 275 Greenwich Street, TriBeCa

Abraco:

Known for it’s silky espresso and delicious pastries. Don’t stop by without trying their signature olive oil cake! However, it’s a grab and go kind of place, no sit-down available. 86 East 7th St, East Village

Blue Bottle Coffee:

Many argue Blue Bottle has the best cold-brew drip coffee around. They also make a stronger New Orleans-style fortified with chicory, which tastes great with a little bit of milk! 450 W 15th St, Chelsea
