Disruption & Productivity? Here are some ideas!

In April 2016, I presented at the Institute of Management Accountant’s (IMA) Regional Conference. My topic was “Mobility, Digital Disruption & Best Practices for Executive Productivity”.

Technology, digital transformation, social trends, etc. are all converging to dramatically change the way we interact, are done. Here are a few thoughts from the presentation that I thought are worth reviewing:


Mobile’s share of web traffic is exploding

Smartphones and tablets are driving this trend. If we are not mobile, as a professional or as a business, we are rapidly falling behind and risk disappointing our customers.

“Digital” encompasses all aspects of business through social, mobile, analytics and cloud (“SMAC”). It is and will fundamentally change how we interact and engage our customers, and will drive how our internal operations and employee workflow changes in the future.
