ECU’s Honors College Features Carolina Wild CEO Dennis Tracz as Keynote 2017 Convocation Speaker

Greenville, NC — August 29, 2017- ECU’s Honor College selects Dennis Tracz as this year’s Honors College Convocation keynote speaker. Mr. Tracz will kick off the school year with an address to the Honors College highlighting innovation and entrepreneurship and the future impact on eastern NC and beyond.

Scheduled for August 31, 2017, The Honors College Convocation officially signals the beginning of the academic year. Mr. Tracz will formally welcome the Class of 2021 to the 2017–2018 school year and recognize their potential to make a difference to the ECU Honors College community and beyond by their efforts to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship.

“I am pleased to welcome Mr. Tracz to the Honors College,” said ECU Honors College Dean Dr. David White. “His experiences and expertise in innovation and entrepreneurship have helped us to shape our plans here. His message will help our community understand the bright future possibilities through innovation and entrepreneurship in addition to their course work.”

Dennis Tracz is the CEO of Carolina Wild and a resident of Pink Hill, NC. with a breadth of experience in entrepreneurship and innovation with 8 startups over more than 30 years. Mr.Tracz serves on the Board of Directors of the NC Rural Center and is active in helping his rural community receive access to. broadband and other technology services.
