Over the Summer in my house, we’ve christened Saturday night as cocktail night. I’ve been taking photographs of the cocktails, some with studio lighting, and some with natural light. I decided to print some of the images, stick them in a notebook, and write the recipe. These images are scans of my notebook. I was curious to see if this approach to presentation would give the images a unified feel.

The heather is out at Ramshaw Rocks. I went there on a couple of evenings hoping for some good light.

Some multiple exposure images taken in Newcastle. One of my aims in doing this project was to find a style or voice that captures the way I see. This style definitely captures the way I see cities: vibrant, somewhat chaotic and a feeling of being lonely in a crowd. This fits with my working definition of a photo story: ‘A collection of images that provide evidence for a point of view’.
