Taiwan opens its doors to deep tech founders and talents with the “Taiwan Digital Gold Card” program, sponsored by the Taiwan National Development Council in collaboration with accelerators, government agencies, and tech companies.
The program is designed for founders and technicians who wish to work and live in Taiwan. Eligible applicants who receive approval will be granted a work visa combined with a resident visa, access to low-cost National Health Care upon re-entry, income tax reductions, and potential opportunities to obtain permanent residency.
The basic criteria include a monthly salary of about $5000 USD, supported by tax statements or a company registration certificate, along with a CV including a portfolio on platforms such as Github and LinkedIn.
