Hello! Today I will be making a review on Minecraft, a sandbox game that was created by Markus Alexej Persson and released by Mojang in 2011. You can build things using cubes called “blocks,” which do different things. You can build anything, from a massive castle to a working computer.

You can play on single-player mode or multiplayer mode. In single-player mode, you can choose survival, or creative. Creative allows you to have access to all blocks, and you can do whatever you want. However, building things isn’t the only thing you can do in Minecraft. In survival, you have to gather resources, and at night monsters will spawn and attack you. You can fight monsters, mine, trade with villagers, explore, and even visit different dimensions! Some monsters include zombies, spiders, endermen, witches, and even creepers that blow things up!

This image shows a creeper blowing up. Image found here.

In multiplayer mode, you can join servers. Basically, a server is a world where you can play with other people who joined that server. There are many different things servers could be. For example, Hypixel is a Minecraft server where you can play many minigames, like Bed Wars, and Build Battle. You could also start your own server, and play with your friends.

This is an image of one of the places where you can go to in Hypixel. Image found here.

You can also use and create mods, which are modifications that add different items, game mechanics, and even mobs! There are many mods you can find, and you can download them and use them. However, not all mods are compatible with each other, and some mods might get you banned from servers.

I think Minecraft is a great game, that is simple to learn how to play, but has many possibilities once you learn how to play it. However, in single-player mode, it is pretty glitchy, and some bugs are very annoying. I would rate it an 8 out of 10.
