Realism, Expectations, and the Fidelity Contract in VR Design

Really great read. I’m looking forward to picking up the first rock and it crumbling; picking up the next and it defying physics, and the next imploding in some fantastic fashion. I haven’t yet experienced a VR environment in which its only consistency is completely inconsistent interactions. Building an experience where preconceptions of every sensory interaction is constantly flipped may produce some awe inspiring results. Or vomit inducing - I guess there’ll be a fine balance.
