Oppo Find X Review
Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has introduced the Oppo Find X in June. The smartphone is loaded with premium features- 6.42 inch with full HD+ resolution, massive RAM Snapdragon processor, Android Oreo, 16+20MP primary camera, 25 MP selfie shooter, 256 GB of internal storage, Dual SIM supporting 4G/Volte and a whopping 3730 mAh battery to name a few. The smart features make it the most sought after phones that’s been released very recently.

This bezel-less phone has AMOLED display and comes with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 which is named as Panoramic Arc Screen with the ability to change the color temperature for selecting the right one. The AMOLED display offers superb black levels and the brightness performance is good. This full screen phone is easy to hold as the glass back is curved at the sides. The power and volume button sits on the right and left sides. The speaker grill, USB Type- C and SIM tray are at the bottom.
Runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, Oppo Find X uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor having 8 Kyro 385 cores, four clocked at 2.8GHz and the other four clocked at 1.8GHz. To make its performance even smoother and faster, the phone features 8GB RAM. The 256GB internal storage is non-expandable. The phone showcases Dual SIM facility and offers 4G and Volte on both SIMs. The phone’s UI does not support an app drawer and the installed apps can be accessed from the home screen. But supports gestures for taking screenshot, raise to wake feature to automatically wake the lock screen just as in the case of iPhone. The face recognition feature performs well that it works even during low light.
Oppo features dual rear cameras that constitute 20MP depth sensor and 16 MP primary sensor. The front shooter is 25 MP. And the phone also offers Google Lens integration feature which comes handy for image recognition. AI beautification, filters can be turned on while taking photos if you wish to. Low light performance is also good and you can switch to HDR mode to capture the best images. While taking selfie, one can enable portrait lighting mode as well. The front shooter records at 1080p while rear camera supports 4K video recording, though it lacks stabilization as opposed to recording at 1080p on selfie shooter.
The phone features whopping battery backup of 3730 mAh offering good battery life during multitasking including playing games and attending calls. It takes only around an hour and a half to reach 100 percent. Oppo Find X supports VOOC company’s proprietary fast charging standard capable of recharging from zero to 35 percent.
Oppo Find X is not just embellished smartphone, but it is powerful with its smart processor from Qualcomm which is now considered as the best at present. If you have enough money to splurge and not concerned about its rivals, then Oppo Find X is worth buying.
