Good analysis to p2p betting but your outline is not scalable. To have an arbiter decide bet outcomes would be cumbersome in the least. I’ve already made a business proposal based on p2p betting using any crypto and addressed the problem. For the platform to work, their needs to be a way for the platform to automatically determine the winner. For p2p sports betting, the platform can go to a website that has an api for it to pull the outcomes. For weird bets, the platform would have to define what people can bet on ie. Things that the system can measure.
