Why are we busy?

Wake up in the morning, I have to be at work at 8 am. I am busy.

I arrive at work, I need to do the work, even if I have nothing to do I should look busy.

Come home, I am busy. Reading news, playing games or something. I have to fill the empty time somehow. Otherwise I am wasting time right?

What about vacations? We go someplace and we are also busy. Why? Because also we can’t waste our precious vacation days. So we do things.

We are busy 24/7. But we hope there will be a day where we will not be busy. If you think it is when you are old and retired, then i am sorry to tell you that all your good moments have passed you when you were all busy doing things. And now you only have empty days left where you look back and regret those busy days.

But but… you sacrificed all your life for your kids and it should be worth it right? Well what happened with your parents? They also sacrificed their lives for you so that you can enjoy the life isn’t it?

But but… you had to be busy to survive and have food and roof over your head right? Do you know you didn’t really need that latest smartphone, powerful sports car, or that big house? You spent your life being busy to buy things you really didn’t need.

Yes I know we all want that safety when we have rainy days. But we don’t know what is waiting for us in the future? Do we really need to worry about things that is highly unlikeable to happen? Even if bad things happen I believe you can overcome it.

So don’t be busy, time is ticking do whatever you want!
