The Year of Reparations

A few weeks after sharing a panel on the margins of the British Labour Party Conference in September 2024, Priya reached out to me to participate in her PhD research project. We agreed that I would use this for advocacy purposes.

In a befitting development, this year being the African Union’s year of reparations; I thought it ideal to share an expansive, exploratory conversation. Whilst not all elements are common or universal, we must critique, challenge and learn to reckon with what is required and needed for full liberation, healing and reparations.
