Why does capitalisation of the word black matter? Is it an adjective like European or is it an adjective like large or sexy? Is white capitalised? Maybe it depends on whether we use it as an adjective or a noun. I don’t know.

Also, historical fact exists outside of lived experiences, and sometimes overlap. Just as for instance, I’ve never experienced racism for being black, it doesn’t mean racism against blacks didn’t exist historically. Your truth vs truth. One gets us to the moon, the other starts wars.
