There’s another way of looking at this. When people experience severe trauma, they often end up with symptoms of PTSD. Some symptoms of PTSD are black-and-white thinking and a tendency to be judgmental. It’s not that these people “change their minds” when “bad” things happen to them. It’s just that these people are trying to adapt to unintegrated trauma.

Having been through many “bad” things in my life, I used to judge things as “right” and “wrong.” After decades of therapy and meditation, now things are often just what they are. I don’t judge you for judging.
