Dune Network Airdrop: what you need to know.
Dear Community, with the imminent airdrop of $DUN tokens to Tezos holders, worldwide, occurring in a few short days, we, here at team Dune, would like to take a brief moment to give more details about our vision. ☀️
The future success of Dune Network and Tezos are not linked. Both blockchains exist to serve entirely different purposes;
- Tezos aims to be a next-generation cryptocurrency.
- Dune Network intends to become the most secure, and viable, Blockchain platform for business applications.
In computer sciences, as in life, very rarely is there ever a ‘one size fits all’ solution to a problem, especially so for a problem of this magnitude. Dune and Tezos may have started from a similar place, but, their destinations are very different. In the same way that you might use a social platform like Facebook, and another one, like LinkedIn or Twitter, we firmly believe various entities can co-exist to perform separate functions. We strongly feel that whatever the future may have in store, holders of both tokens can benefit from the situation.

Finally, we’d like to take this time to hammer home a few key points;
- We are, first and foremost, committed to the long-term success of Dune Network. From our board room to the shop floor, every member of team Dune believes in the future of our journey. 🚀
- With a fast-growing team of twenty staff, including eleven highly experienced developers, and funding from long-term investment partners, we are not dependant upon market fluctuation. This leaves us free to focus on what we do best, building! 💪🏻
- Being clear underdogs, we understand there will always be extra pressure on our shoulders to perform. We embrace the challenge and have no doubts that in the coming weeks, months and years, we will show that Dune is here to stay. 🌈
And so, at the end of the day, if you currently hold more than 10 XTZ, you will be receiving an airdrop of a similar amount of $DUN. They are yours and you are free to do with them whatever you wish! All we ask is that you judge us by what we do and how we deliver in a near futur, not what others say about us. We have few very exciting announcements to come over the next few weeks. We can’t wait to share these with you.
After the airdrop, we will make the network publicly accessible, and provide a set of Dune-specific tools (web wallet, with Ledger Nano S support) so that you can easily access your new account on Dune and check your allocation.(We have answers to the most frequent asked questions here).
