History will tell. Personally I think the Republican party today is very much about “The ends justify the means” and will get along just fine with our president so long as he continues to be able to sign his name on bills that erode our safety nets and give corporate welfare to industries traditionally supporting Republican candidates and policies.

For what its worth though I agree with your general assessment of our president and I am very worried about the rhetoric coming from the supposed Left and the media opinion spinsters. Ad hominems, calls for punching “nazis”, and attempts to erode our First Amendment rights.

Despite my left leaning beliefs, I cannot reconcile this and support this. Republicans may put party over people, but calls to violence and erode our liberties makes these so called leftists enemies of humanity.

I am far more worried about the response to Trump than the administration itself.
