I am flattered that you trust my judgement of people, however in the case of Caitlin Johnstone I am just terribly unsure.

She is an excellent writer and does a good job of building a case against Neoconservatism across the political parties. She makes excellent points and uses rational sound judgment and journalistic ethics, MOST of the time.

Sometimes her sources are in my opinion highly unreliable. Her insistence on reaching across the aisle to work on common issues with people like Mike Cernovich leaves a foul taste in my mouth, a visceral emotional disgust despite the cold logical part of my brain agreeing with her that the Alt Right shares common cause to end destructive foreign wars.

The threat of nuclear war is something I am concerned with, however she obsesses with it and the subject of escalations with Russia, which makes me question sometimes if she is affiliated with the Putin government, however her requests for donations and sincere gratitude to donations suggest that she might not be. I would think an active Russian collaborater in a first world country like Australia would be better funded and wanting for little.

All in all I mostly trust her but double check on her sources. You should form your own opinion though because I am often wrong about people.
