I agree that Google has done some great things for creating and publishing apps, but I would argue that Apple has also done some great things:
- great simulators that just work out of the box (sometimes virtual devices are a pain for Android)
- fast compile times (though Android Studio has made this much better recently)
- more consistency across devices (obviously easier because they make them all, but it gives me a much higher confidence that my code will work on all devices)
Good thing we have Google and Apple to make each other better 😉
Thanks for sharing your experience. Glad to hear success in the hybrid arena. Definitely looking forward to doing some hybrid apps at work when it makes sense.
