If It Weren’t For Apple, Hybrid App Development Would Be The Clear Winner Over Native
Sam Delgado

I agree that Google has done some great things for creating and publishing apps, but I would argue that Apple has also done some great things:

  1. great simulators that just work out of the box (sometimes virtual devices are a pain for Android)
  2. fast compile times (though Android Studio has made this much better recently)
  3. more consistency across devices (obviously easier because they make them all, but it gives me a much higher confidence that my code will work on all devices)

Good thing we have Google and Apple to make each other better 😉

Thanks for sharing your experience. Glad to hear success in the hybrid arena. Definitely looking forward to doing some hybrid apps at work when it makes sense.
