Excellent insights Joe! This desire to push “new” products or be “agile” is evident in many sectors. What I focus on is the customer experience and their perception of the company. When companies do react and adjust their offering they may gain some credibility but like you mentioned when small issues go unseen or ignored the customer can be left with questions, mainly why was this not dealt with and what other small simple issues may arise.
I would love to read a post on your insights introducing new products to customers highlighting the planning and process you undertake to control their experience with your new product.
