Dates & Reminders In WorkFlowy?

I’m in the “don’t really need reminders” camp. A reminder brings something to mind you weren’t thinking of in that moment, so reminders for todo items in a project aren’t really necessary since I’m already mindful of those things when I’m working on that project, and those tasks aren’t relevant when I’m not working on it. But for things like “don’t forget to buy milk”, that are context (time, location) sensitive, things like Siri really are the best implementation of reminders. I will say (even though I haven’t used it that much) for collaboration and WF “events” like that, reminders/notifications would be helpful. But notifications in WF doesn’t seem like a natural fit, hence reminders seem out of place to me.

As for dates, I could see how a deeper integration could help. I use the”#dYYYYMM DD” system, to provide specificity but not have 300+ tags/year. It would be nice to have easier access to sort bullets by date modified (I actually forget the date search operator as example right now; I’m a little out of practice I guess.) Natural language would be nice, something like “!modifiednew” or just “!new” (maybe -est?) in the search bar would be cool. And I really like the app Numi (http://numi.io) and having dates displayed right-justified could be neat and tidy. That kind of functionality for dates could be cool, something like “Laundry !nextthursday” and then when I search for !thisweek I have a list of my week, sorted chronologically. The !next… would continuously schedule that bullet for the next occurring Thursday whereas if I just put !thursday, it would lock it to the next calendar thursday and not change that date (if I were keeping track of when I last did laundry.)
