Day 4: The One Thing I’d Like to Disappear
EDSA. E-D-S-A! The road, not the revolution. My dad said ‘pag naka drive ka na sa EDSA, papayagan na kita mag drive mag-isa’. Desperate to drive alone so I could drive to work, I told them, ‘tara punta tayo EDSA ngayon’. I spent three hours on that road. Three hours, ang sakit sa legs. I was supposed to exit at SM North EDSA, I missed the turn. So I decided, sige Greenhills nalang. Missed the turn again. Sige, Makati nalang. Before I knew it, nasa SLEX na ako, on the way to Alabang. Yes, ganun kalayo kasi namiss ko yung turn.
So ayun, pinayagan na magdrive to work the next day. Yey! ❤️
Waze is such a great app! I mean, sobrang gala kasi ako na tao, trip ko talaga umalis with friends and see different places in Metro Manila and surrounding provinces. So, naturally I rely on Waze to navigate for me. Kaso, lagi niya gusto dumaan sa EDSA! Tapos lagi akong nakakamiss ng turn! Hahaha #conyoproblems
EDSA is probably the most polluted road in the Philippines, the heaviest vehicle traffic flow, and laging nagchechange kung kelan pwede mag U-Turn, left-turn, right-turn and grabe ang daming MMDA officers hidden somewhere pag nagkamali ka, huli ka na…
So ang dami ko reklamo sa EDSA not realizing that it conveniently connects Metro Manila. Di ko alam kung ano solusyon sa traffic sa EDSA. Pero dahil sa EDSA, naniniwala ako na may forever. Forever na traffic. ❤️
