Why facebook is right about ads!

All right! All right! you all hate ads.it’s frustrating to see them everywhere not informative at all blah blah blah.

Yes they know that. by they I’m referring to facebook.

let me get started…

first of all facebook is a free social network and it will always be(at least that’s what they say).

Now imagine you’re running a restaurant where billions of people are always coming to have breakfast, lunch and dinner every second, which are free of cost!

In return to make your restaurant sustainable and pay cheque to all your chef and waiter also at the same time making sure you have all the ingredients, vegetables and meat to provide food for customer who could be coming any second. You just put an ad on their table so they can have a look and buy the product if they’re interested.

Note: you’re not forcing anyone to buy the product in fact you have given them option to provide feedback whether those ads were relevant for them or not!

Now coming to the point…

facebook has always try their best for their user to have great experience where you can connect and chat with your friends or client anytime without interruption. In return they’ve just put an ad which could actually be relevant for you provided if you have given feedback.

and why they’re right about ads it’s not only about profit of their company but for small startups and SME’s. Imagine you live in a world where you always have to pay for big banner ads on the side walk, where you can’t even measure how many of them have noticed your ad. on the other hand facebook help you reach the right customer for your business

now if you’re casual user and those line above doesn’t make any sense. imagine you’re running a restaurant (again!), where in your local area you have big competitors and it’s difficult for you to reach the customer. that’s where facebook can help you reach potential customer.

I would not say Adblock is bad tool to avoid ads, specially those spam ads

we all know how annoying it is to see them.

But we need to understand, few things are out there for right reason and not always what we assume it to be.

what I’m saying is few ads could actually land you a dream job or get you pizza in a good deal, it really depends on how we consume those data!
