It’s interesting that this is tagged angular and react but they aren’t mentioned. Sure one could require them with templating but modern JS frameworks have had this problem solved for year’s day more elegantly than some of your proposed solutions. And visual studio code handles in-string HTML just fine. But yes jetbrains has done an amazing job at that for years
