I appreciate your post and perspective.
The point of my article is to make the practical legal argument, not the moral or business argument. Concerning the legal argument, I stated that it’s hard for me to believe that anything in React is substantively patentable. One can always get a helplessly narrow, commercially worthless patent, but I strongly doubt there’s any real protection possible.
To your question.. I don’t know if any FB componet patent.
