This is 2016
Your 19, yet everyone older than you preaches their story and guides you in the right direction. Although everyone has different values, qualities, and beliefs, they all give their best, and honest advice for a young adult starting their future. but the future is unpredictable.
Stay out of debt, at all cost. That's the #1 piece of advice I've been given and I fond it to be useful. Okay sure I have it “good” to were I can stay at home and pay no rent, eat free food, and go to a community college paid out of pocket and by financial aid. But the millennials, my generation, the group of people I should be following and be part of, says otherwise. They follow in the footsteps of failure and as science says, our minds are not fully developed before 25 years old to see the smarter, more logical approach until we fall into failure. I always try to think twice, and even a third time before I make a lengthily decision. Its even come down to cutting strings with close friends who want to lead me into failure along with them just for the words of “its fun”. I've learned clearly if someone has the ability to drag you down unintentionally, drop them out of your life.
I want this, I need this, they'll love this. That's the 3 most used words for todays generation. I am a millennial as much as I don't want to be. Take a birds eye view and see how stupid we look. Come closer and we look like sheep. I don't want to be a sheep.
I'm tired can I publish then edit this later….
