Inspired by a story challenge on Twitter

Chaise Lounge

On a dreary winter morning, after a night of freezing drizzle, I carried my coffee cup out to the sunroom and glanced at the patio. There sat the frozen chaise lounge, waiting patiently for the sun to release it from its ice crystal prison.

I wrote this flash fiction piece in response to a story challenge on Twitter (I will not call it X). I hope you enjoyed it. If you did, could you linger on this page for at least 30 seconds, clap (you can clap up to 50 times), highlight your favorite bit, and/or comment with your thoughts? Thank you.
