Thank you all for everything!!!

I never thought I would be writing this blog but like people say, when “कथाले मागे पछि”, it has to be faced :/. Change is certainly not less hard in this transition for me than anyone. I consider myself fortunate to have been a part of YoungInnovations and be with people who has become like my second family.

Every day at YoungInnovations was full of enthusiasm to learn and implement new things. The challenging 10 months went by but it still feels like a short time with cool colleagues, adopting newer technologies and solving problems. I would miss every mornings that started with the warm handshake with Prawesh Shrestha and talks with my own squad leader Bigyan Adhikary who treated me like a brother and encouraged me in every steps & eased me in making decisions professionally as well as personally. He was always there to share with the new things we learn every day and I never felt alone from the very first day while being with him.

It’s a pleasure for me to plan and implement the new server infrastructure of YIPL at Google Cloud with anjesh. He was always the source of encouragement and I am very thankful for his trust & access to resources which always uplifted me to try and choose best technologies. I am more than happy to work with the DevOps team of finest minds of YIPL: anjesh, Prashant Shrestha, Manish Singh, Bigyan Adhikary, Kushal Raj Shrestha, Bishal Timilsina and Apil Karki. It was always a fun working & solving problems with one of the coolest man, Sachit Bir Singh and Punya Ruchal. I have learned a lot from each and every members of YIPL.

Being an organizer in almost every event organized starting from Open Data Hackathon to Picnic, Retreat and Table Tennis Tournament(which I couldn’t be with the organizing team and help directly till end) helped me a lot in professional and personal development. I am really grateful to samita lalchan for providing me wonderful opportunity to help in organizing the Hackathon and encouraging me to be upfront in Picnic that provided me a wide range of experience.

Retreat was another unforgettable event and also one of the best moment in my life. It was whole new experience working with the organizing team of Sanjeena Parajuli, Saroj Bista, Akita Nakarmi, Prashanta to whom I am more than thankful.

If I miss Table Tennis, I would be missing not only more than half day per week but all those cheerful moments. The encouraging words of Saroj Bista always helped me in building a trust in myself and improving the plays. If there is someone who I remember for giving me tips to hit shots & tactful play, it would be Suraj KC and Ravi. Besides, I really enjoyed playing TT with Kiran Shrestha, Biju Nakarmi(who was the first known face at YIPL for me who knew me), Prashanta and rest of all. I’m grateful to the YI Doubles TT Tournament organizers for rewarding me with “Best Spirit” title which would always encourage me to play with my best.

I would always remember our very own CEO bibhusan for his enthusiasm and friendliness. I am very much obliged for the trust of anjhero since the very beginning days of setting internal file sharing server(NextCloud) and other projects too. Rakesh Pradhan and Rajan Paneru doesn’t deserve to be missed to be mentioned here for caringness and helpful heart.

In no small measure, I appreciate working at YoungInnovations and value the support provided me during my tenure. I hope I also created positive impact on the server infrastructure. I greatly enjoyed being with YIPL and wish the company & team all the best with future endeavors.

Chance made us colleagues. Hearts made us friends
