Announcing Our New DFC Fellow Julia Benz

The Decentralized Future Council is pleased to announce that Julia Benz will join the organization as our new Sustainability Web3 Fellow. Her fellowship began this month for a six-month period. In this role, Julia will be researching various topics relating to sustainability in blockchain and other decentralized technologies. Julia will be leading educational programming similar to the work of previous fellows both in-person and virtually. She is a research associate on the Data Insights team at Guidehouse Insights. Her focus is on blockchain technology and utility program insights. Before joining Guidehouse Insights, Benz worked at E Source where she consulted on various utility programs. She was also an analyst and strategist for Vessel Works, a reusable cup service startup. Benz holds an honors BS in sustainability in development from Brown University. We are excited to have Julia bring her knowledge and expertise with us as we continue our mission to promote the public interest potential of decentralized technologies.
