The Fireman tells the story of a firefighter (Shane Gillis) who saves a family from a burning building before being approached by a cable news reporter (Victor Dweck) who is far more interested in the fact that the hero likes Donald Trump. Unfazed by his lifesaving achievement, the sketch heightens in hilarity as the reporter does everything he can to frame the firefighter as a horrible person.

The complete sketch can be viewed on DWECK’s Youtube and Facebook pages.

DWECK will launch its eight-episode first season in 2019. The late night comedy series promises to bring a fresh perspective to the one-sided late night landscape.

DWECK was created by Victor Dweck and Tom Leopold, who also serve as executive producers.
