Well stated Ben. I am sorry you and your family had to go through that mess. Our government is very often it’s own worst enemy. As others have pointed out the xenophobia shown these days by those in congress does nothing at all to keep us safer. So what we have as a result is a long term problem of a “brain drain” because we make it so hard to smart and enterprising folks to stay and do what they (you) do. Diversity is the stuff of Life. If embraced it can only enrich us. If shunned and avoid it can only hurt us and maybe even kill us. Bravo for not being bitter after such a trial. Thank you for your story.
