How can Jews and Christians see their faith as a path to end racism when the Old and New Testament condone slavery and condone privilege for Jews as god’s chosen people? The “it was different times back then” argument is just not moral anymore than the being silent about racism. The author is a preacher at a christian church. btw, I’m an white atheist, so I’m not arguing for keeping things as is.
