I wished my friends from all corners on this friendship day. BUT took enough time for one of my friends who never interacted with me. We never shared free moments together like usual friends. This one may sound more absurd ; my friend may not even know I exist. But most importantly he has given what every friend expects. An essential thing, happiness.
MS Dhoni is more of a friend not only for me but for all his fans. There are many instances when I relied on Dhoni for being my only source of uplifting an unstimulating mood. We often go through a bad day. The day which gets worse with the every lap minute hand takes off the clock. When no comedy show helps you, even your favorite song sounds unmelodious. Then only a friend could rescue you, and friends show their worth in times of trouble, not in happiness.
Dhoni has done this to me and I can assure to many of us.
A small clip of him can give you immense happiness. It brings a smile on your face. And what does he want in return? Nothing. No selfishness, only magnanimity.
Sunny sir says “ When I die, the last thing I want to see is the six that Dhoni hit in the 2011 World Cup final”
Friendship: A bond that lasts for a life time. If you know its meaning you will be glad to have found that someone that makes you complete. And through life you will never feel alone, because even if your friend is not there with you, your heart knows that whenever you need help he or she will be there to give you a hand. So yes “Friendship is a bond that lasts for a life time”
MSD is one of the best healers for his devotees. He works like a therapy for them. Many of us have not met him yet. We may call him our friend, but are still strangers from his side. He counts us but still doesn’t know us individually. That’s what makes this friendship more beautiful. The only thing which connects us is our affection for each other. There is purity in our love which needs and expects nothing back from him, but still ready to give the most precious thing a man has, TIME.
He is a friend and will be a friend as long as he gives us the most valuable and important thing in a friendship, a smile on our face. We know he will.
Happy Friendship Day, Mahi!
