Good write up!. Thanks. I’m finally getting into these kinds of tools and am leaning heavily toward Things 3 at the moment. We’re all Apple in this house, my wife and I both work from home and don’t need to worry about team projects, etc., aesthetics are important to us, as is simplicity. Things 3 is just deep enough to satisfy and simple enough to…
I love Things, have been a user since it came out. Still looking for better alternatives, mainly because Things is a Apple-only, and my stationary is Windows. Yes, I can have my iPad at the side, but I miss the quick add feature. So thanks, @alex beals for mentioning Notions. I’ll be looking into that.
Use Notion! It’s free, and has a lot of overlap/in some cases, even better use cases. It’s not as strict a To-Do list (Asana’s good for that w/ a free version as well), but it’s a lot more versatile to replace Notes, etc. as well.
I am also using Things 3, and Its really best productivity app in the market. But If you have busy working life, you can’t add everything in it easily. So You need to improve a routine such as taking notes similar like bullet journal then fill in the Things 3. I am still using together 2 system.
