If you’ve been in the software field for some time, you may be so busy managing teams, hiring and training new talent, attending meetings, and road-mapping projects that you have little time to write code. How do you stay on top of industry changes if your understanding of new technology is superficial, gained not by writing code but by hearing about it, attending conferences and reading blogs? Can you be an authoritative leader if you don’t have mastery of current skills?
