This is a really good point. If only trackbacks weren’t so fucking annoying in real-life execution. That’s something WordPress could fix, if it wanted to. Rather than each trackback showing up as some weird machine-made “comment” on my blog post, why doesn’t it show up as a “Like” added to a total, letting me click on the total to see which people actually liked the post? No wonder people use Facebook. There’s no good way to create trackback/link/like reciprocity outside of it.
