A Starfield Dream Realized: Your Personal Space Station Has Arrived

For Starfield players yearning for a personal haven amongst the stars, the wait is over! A fantastic mod by Nexus Mods user Squint introduces “Your Personal Spacestation,” finally fulfilling a major desire for many in the Bethesda fanbase.

While Starfield’s core theme revolves around space exploration, the lack of space stations in the base game has left some fans scratching their heads. Despite abundant ships and settlements, the absence of orbital outposts seems like a missed opportunity in this sprawling spacefaring RPG.

Thankfully, Squint’s mod answers the call. Players can now own their very own zero-gravity home, located in orbit around Tau Ceti III within the Tau Ceti system. This spacious station boasts a variety of rooms waiting to be personalized. A particularly impressive feature is the display corridor, allowing residents to showcase their prized armor sets and weapons for visiting spacefarers to admire.

Starfield’s official stance on space stations remains unclear almost a year after release. While rumors circulated in early 2024 about Bethesda working on the feature for a June Xbox Showcase reveal, they turned out to be unfounded. However, this doesn’t necessarily rule out the possibility of future implementation.
