Genesis Vision: A Quickstart Guide
A Brief Introduction to Genesis Vision
Genesis Vision is a decentralized asset management platform, where you can invest your funds into talented traders who do it best. It’s an open platform, where any talented trader (A.K.A fund manager) can sign up and compete against other traders to deliver the best profits on behalf of those who don’t know how to trade, or for those who just don’t have the time.
The Genesis Vision platform provides these fund managers access to several different markets all within one platform, including Forex, stocks, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. This allows for excellent versatility that provides managers the capability to invest and trade in whichever market holds the most opportunity at any given time.
Putting the ‘Trust’ in Trust Management
Nothing about the revolutionary Genesis Vision platform means anything if you can’t trust it, and one of the key components to Genesis Vision is trust and transparency. In Genesis Vision, you’re never left in the dark as to where your investment goes and how exactly it is being used, as trades made by the managers are made publicly viewable for transparency, and the blockchain is used to make this data immutable. As a result, you never have to worry about a trader’s track record, as it cannot be forged or tampered with.
Lastly, all investments into managers, as well as the distribution of profits from the manager to the investor, are both automatically handled through blockchain smart contracts for maximum trust.
So you want to start investing on Genesis Vision, so let’s get started, shall we?
Step 1: Signing up
Download the Genesis Vision app and sign up.
Logging in should take you to your Dashboard, where you can see stats like your current overall Genesis Vision investment portfolio value.
Quick Fact: The currency of the Genesis Vision platform is the Genesis Vision Token (GVT). It is used for all investment operations and profit distribution. It is a scarce crypto asset as it has a fixed supply and no more will ever be created.
Step 2: Funding your account
Press the wallet button in the bottom right corner of the screen to access your Wallet.
Go to Add Funds
To fund your account, all you need to do is select your preferred cryptocurrency to transfer, how much you want to transfer, send it to your displayed deposit address, and your deposit will automatically be converted into GVT at the market rate.
Step 3: Choosing a manager/investment program
Visit the Programs section by pressing on the triangle icon at the bottom. Here you can see a brief overview of some of the available investment programs.
You can explore each one to see a more detailed view of that manager’s program.
Here you can see more detailed info on the program, such as their investment strategy, their profit, how much more GVT they can currently take in, their fees, how long their trading period is, as well as their trade history.
If you’ve decided to invest your GVT into a program, press the Invest button, and you’ll be asked how much GVT you would like to invest.
Quick Tip: Even if a manager’s performance is quite impressive, it is wise to hedge your GVT into different managers to reduce your risk. Remember, no particular manager is ever guaranteed to make a profit, they can make a loss too.
Step 4: Withdrawing profits
Press the Withdraw button on the program page to choose how much you would like to withdraw from the program.
Quick Fact: When you invest into a program, your GVT is converted into the manager’s currency such as USD. When you withdraw, your manager’s currency is converted back into GVT. This is done to protect against the potential volatility of GVT, and ensures that the value of your investment eligible for withdrawal should always be higher than the total value that was initially invested, as long as your manager makes a profit.
If you want to withdraw your funds from the platform, go back to your Wallet, and then press Withdraw.
Your GVT will be converted into your chosen cryptocurrency such as BTC, and will be withdrawn to your specified address.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully made profit with Genesis Vision!
But one more thing…
NEVER forget to enable two factor authentication! Security of your funds is paramount.
