So, I just saw Zombieland Double Tap……and it was great!!!! The action, the comedy, the….well….the Zombies but also the new type of Zombies, the so called T-800’s were one highlight from the film in my opinion. Not only did they take longer to kill, which is a more realistic aspect of the film, but in the final fight scene I was convinced that the main characters were going to get bitten.

Now lets talk about the non-zombie characters. We will start with Columbus. (Jesse Eisenberg) gives yet another interesting perfomance. He is funny and his beginning narrations telling us about the new types of Zombies were hilarious and thrilling. Next is Tallahassee(Woody Harrelson) is his natural self. A country loving gun slinging hilarious part of the movie, as per usual. He is very funny and finally finds a love interest, Nevada(more on her later). Next is Wichita(Emma stone), the only one who actually won an academy award, is still with Columbus in the beginning parts of the movie. But after Wichita and Little Rock run away(as per usual) it is a month until we see them again. But before that we see Columbus and Tallahassee find a girl named Madison(more on her later). When they bring Madison home, Columbus sleeps with her only to find that Wichita returned looking for weapons because Little Rock ran off with Berkley(more on him later). Lastly from the main four is Little Rock(Abigail Breslin) is very unrecognizable since it has been ten years since we last saw her in a popular movie. She is hilarious and has a very interesting yet somewhat disturbing chemistry with Woody Harrelson/Tallahassee.

Now lets talk about the new characters. Starting with my favourite, Madison(Zoey Deutch) is not only the biggest comic relief of the movie, but she is so convincing of her character that when I think of Zoey Deutch now, I think of a dumb blonde girl, of that which she is not. Next up is Nevada (Rosario Dawson) is very much like a female version of Woody Harrelson or should I say Nevada is a female version of Tallahassee? Whatever way you say it is, it probably is. Next is Berkley(Avan Jogia). Now the reason I recognize Avan Jogia is because of Victorious where he played Beck. But his character was not only peaceful but was a sort of comic relief. Lastly Luke Wilson/Albuquerque and Thomas Middleditch/Flagstaff. Even though they both only appear for a very short time, the time they spend on screen is hilarious. And it is finally nice to see the transition of human to Zombie.

In conclusion this was a great addition to the Zombieland orginal movie and would have even been a good stand alone movie with some tweeking. All in all I can not wait to see this movie for a third time and enjoy it even more. And also if you stuck around at a little longer during the credits you could see Bill Murray during the beginning of the zombie apocalypse going on a murder rampage so………Thanks for Reading!
