Welcome back, Dysoneers.

At Dyson, we are always striving to provide our users with the best tools and insights to make informed decisions in the world of DeFi. Today, we are excited to announce that the Dyson dApp has received a massive batch of new and exciting updates, with more on the way.

Dyson seeks to position itself as the ultimate yield maximizer in the entire DeFi space, and remaining at the cutting edge of innovation while making all of its features easily accessible and potent for our users is a top priority.

Let’s dive into the different updates, and explore how Dyson 2.0 can help you maximize your DeFi yields and experience.

Navigation Tab: Vault Assortment Made Easy

One of the most notable updates to the Dyson dApp is the integration of a Navigation tab, which helps users sort through the different vaults Dyson offers more easily.

This innovative addition to our dApp enables users to access their chosen vaults with ease, as the different vaults are organized into categories, making navigation a much simpler process.

  • Pools: this is the default category, and provides users with a list of general vault strategies and LPs across different DEXs and protocols.
  • Concentrated Liquidity: this category gives instant access to all of Dyson’s ALM solutions. In addition, these vaults have received an additional Metrics tab that allows users to analyze the pools’ performance, which will be discussed in depth later in this article.
  • Mint: this tab allows users to view all of Dyson’s powerful Liquid Market solutions, take DEX emission tokens, convert them into their Dyson-built liquid wrappers, and finally farm them, either via the above-mentioned Pools tab, or directly through the DEX, with high yield and minimal impermanent loss (IL).
  • Sphere Locker: the Sphere Locker is probably the most exciting category for $SPHERE holders, as this is where they can yield lock their $SPHERE for a 17-week period to generate $ylSPHERE, which is the yield-bearing token of the Sphere Ecosystem, and gives $ylSPHERE holders access to blue-chip token rewards from across the Ecosystem at a variable APR.
  • Deprecated: this includes all vaults that have been discontinued and are no longer functioning. Users with assets in LPs displayed on the Deprecated tab are strongly encouraged to withdraw those assets as soon as possible, as they are no longer generating any yield.

Search and Sort Features

These organizational features allow Dyson users to search for vaults within each category of the Navigation tab, making navigation to specific vaults even simpler and faster. Dyson is working hard to make its platform as user-friendly as possible, and features such as the Search and Sort features are designed to help users navigate the platform as quickly and easily as possible.

Users can also use the checkbox options on the left of the screen below the Navigation tab to sort the different vaults according to the assets they have in their wallets in order to view what strategies may be available for them, track their active vaults by checking the “Deposited” box, or check to see if any new vaults have recently launched by checking the “New Vaults” box.

Users can also sort vaults by Name, Deposited, Wallet, TVL, and APY, as well as being able to select which Networks, Platforms and individual Assets they may be interested in within each tab through the drop-down list below.

Metrics Tab: An In-Depth Analysis

The Metrics tab, accessible by clicking on the particular Dyson-managed vault you are interested in, offers a variety of amazing features that help you analyze your vault’s performance, optimize your strategies, and ultimately maximize your returns.

Dyson, as an integral part of the Sphere Ecosystem, serves as an automated yield maximizer and concentrated liquidity manager protocol. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for users to navigate the complex landscape of DeFi and take advantage of the best opportunities available. With the new Metrics tab, we believe we are taking a significant step forward in achieving this mission.

Each pool in the Concentrated Liquidity section of the Navigation tab has its own Metrics tab, which displays a variety of analytical insights for users since the last rebalance. These include the pool profit and/or loss of the vault, and fee APR with IL factored in, and a concentrated liquidity multiplier, which also shows the vault TVL and its Uni V2 equivalent TVL, with historical APY and TVL data.

Historical APR/APY Positions

One of the key metrics for any DeFi user is the annual percentage rate (APR) or annual percentage yield (APY) of their deposits. Dyson’s new Metrics tab provides a line graph displaying the historical APR/APY positions for the vault, allowing you to see how the vault has performed over time, giving you a comprehensive view of any particular vault’s all-time performance.

Conclusion: A Dyson-Powered DeFi Future

In conclusion, these new updates provide powerful additions to Dyson’s dApp, aiming to make it more user-friendly for Dysoneers, and providing you with a comprehensive set of tools to analyze your deposit performance, identify trends, and optimize your strategies. We believe that by offering these features, we are empowering our users to make more effective use of all the opportunities that yield maximizers provide, and ultimately maximize their returns within the Sphere Ecosystem. Happy farming!
