Excellent article, I brought the same hightlight from the same conference :) One nuance: You will rewrite your app, not to move to the other provider but by the progress of your cloud provider. They change existing services and introduce new ones; developing on PaaS is buiding on the sand, castle not :) it’s not a bad thing: code has never been that cheap with the agility of serverless, and as you pointed out, writing code for reuse is getting more expensive than replacement. Like commoditization of electronics makes TV obsolete, serverless is make obsolete much of traditional “future-proofing”.
