AR-ROOM” is an app that let you design your room of dreams. You can be your own interior designer.

Basic Functionality of app: -

· You can design your room in AR.

· Users can also add movables and can express their imagination in AR.

· Instant soft copy of interior mapping is available on the go.

· People can also see how will home décor items look in their rooms.

There are many problems which we face while designing the interior of room like inability to express our ideas and extremely expensive pay of professional designers.

With the help of AR-ROOM you can design your room by yourself, add salt of yourself and that too with absolutely no experience.

Market Demand: -

Not everyone is blessed with the ability to decorate and furnish their houses and gardens. There may be consumers who will require our assistance in designing the ideal home.

Furniture, decor and accessory manufacturers now have an opportunity to showcase their objects inside real interiors by creating the AR models of their items. The ability to try them in one’s own house is better than a thousand photos.

Anyone seeking for interior designing will be our target customer. We will try that anybody who wants to go to an interior designer should once try our app and we will make sure that there is no way back.

With our easy-to-use UI, availability of all kinds of home décor items and variety of customization, once you are into our app, you can get immense resources and facilities from which once people start using our app, they will never return to interior designers paying them huge amount of money.

Since different people have different home decor tastes, it’s critical to meet their preferences and attract the right customers through your online store.

Case Study — 1

Let us take an instance when Mr. N wants to renovate his house. He goes to an interior designer to express his idea. Interior designer takes Rs. 10,000, As his fees and asked him to wait 10 days till the Map gets ready. After 10 days when Mr. N went to Designer and saw the design, he was not satisfied with the map, costing him both time and money. He thought of asking interior designer to make the map again but was terrified because it will cost him the same thing again.

Mr. N then came to an ad of AR-ROOMS. He thought of trying the app because it was free of cost. After 1 hour of Mr. N in the app, he was able to design the map exactly how it was in his mind. He eagerly paid Rs. 100 to download the map because it was not even 1% of what he paid to the interior designer for a not so satisfactory map. He also rated app 5-star and recommended his friends about it.

Case Study — 2

Late us take a situation where Ms. R wants to buy a Wall Clock for her room. She searched online for it and came across one she wants. She noticed that it was available in 3 different sizes (Small, Medium and Large) and was not sure which one would be good for her room. She was very confused about it and she was going to cancel the plan until she noticed a View in AR option on the website. The option directly took her to AR-ROOM apps. Ms. R just entered the size of her room and in one go was able to decide that large size would be perfect for her room. She was very happy with the service and also mentioned AR ROOMS in the review of Wall Clock.

Relevant products in the market: -

There are some apps that provide you with one or two of the functionalities, but there aren’t many that provide you with all of them. Even if they do, they aren’t really user-friendly. My app will use AR to not only enhance user engagement but it will also boost the experience of a user vividly and more explicitly.

Once a user start using our app, making and customizing their room of dreams by their very own hand, it will make them so use to it that they will not even think of traditional way.

Required Knowledge: -

· Java- It will be used at backend of app.

· C, C#, Python — They will be used for AR development.

· MySQL- Will be used for database storage.

· JavaScript — For UI development.

So basically, my app will be coded on Java, UI will be based on JavaScript, MySQL will be used for database storage and AR will be based on combination of many high-level languages.

Estimated budget: -

The estimated budget for the whole project starting initially would be somewhat close to 300000 INR. Programmers would have to be employed, a workspace and necessary hardware/ cloud will be required. The advertisements would have to place on relevant websites this will add up to a huge amount of funding.

Product Pricing: -

We will charge at the time of MAP downloading a minimal amount of 100 Rs.

At beginning, we will give an early bird offer to our first 5000 customers at 30% off to boom the app.

Revenue generation: -

Initially the revenue generation would come from Google AdSense ads that are shown in the app. However, as the app reaches to more and more people and our budget increases from the revenue generation, we could collaborate with different furniture manufacturers and home décor makers and offer deals to the customer, and gain a certain amount depending on what offer the customer chooses. We will also take commissions per order from websites so that both the website and us will be benefited.

Marketing plan: -

Ads will be placed on all the major platform so that people now more and more about the app. We will also pay social media influencers so that they talk about the app on their platform and give us a good reach. We will also create hype on platforms like YouTube Instagram, Facebook and others where we will explain need of the app, how to use it and other important details.

We will also ask our tied-up websites to put up our advertisement on their websites so that we gain a mass audience from well-known brands. For example: We can tie up with famous brands such as: Pepper Fry, Urban ladder, Myntra, Jaquar etc.

Also, we believe that programme is truly excellent and it will sell itself. As a result, that shouldn’t be a cause for concern.

Risk analysis: -

At beginning, our app might not make a huge revolution in the market, So the revenue generation might be lesser than expected, but as more and more brand start using our App to advertise their product, we will surely give an upliftment to our app.

Here is a realistic timeline about the app –

The coding would take a while to be done because AR development is a time-consuming task. And we will not publish the app once we are sure about its reliability and implementation.

Deployment — Our main aim is to launch app on 22 October, Before the auspicious occasion of Diwali’22 so that people will use app to renovate homes before Diwali, opening a wide market for us and giving us a great kick start.
