Today, 14 November 2017 is a significant day for eBTC.

We have strategically rebranded ourselves as eBitcoin, and have set our sights on being a smarter bitcoin. Subsequently, we have revamped our website and our domain has now moved to eBitcoin.org.

It has been 45 days since the inception of eBitcoin. Given the ingenious yet simple nature of this idea, it was only natural that other parties would produce their own e-currencies based on the Ethereum platform. eBitcoin differentiates itself from these tokens by achievements that it has garnered on its own accord; eBTC is being accepted by five merchants, is traded on six exchanges and has a strong, vibrant and diverse community.

With the backing of the community, the members of eBitcoin Foundation, have diligently pursued the core vision of eBitcoin; To be a fast, low-cost currency with a store of value and smart contract functionality.

The strategic branding of eBitcoin, coincides with the release of our highly anticipated whitepaper; The purpose of this whitepaper is to address the fundamentals behind eBitcoin’s creation. It provides a strong case for the existence and positioning of eBitcoin in the ever-growing cryptoverse. The whitepaper can now be accessed on our new website, eBitcoin.org.

Moving forward, eBitcoin has defined a clear roadmap, detailing several milestones and these will be the focus of the eBitcoin Foundation. Several campaigns that allow for community participation will also be published on eBitcoin.org. Thank you for your ongoing support!
