Dear marika, Onimisi, Cami, Jules, Rocket, smokey, Tamyka, Tremaine, Camille, Renée, Sherry, Heath, Tessa, Tamyka, and Wild Flower. Sorry to say there was no word from the doctor on Thursday or Friday. L called and was told that the lab does weekend shifts so results may still come in today or tomorrow. The doctor is checking in with the lab several times a day.

The swelling around the tissue is reducing and there is little discharge. L said the pain is manageable with light medication. There is growing emotional pain, though, from the physical change. I’ve alluded to before that L has physical disabilities as a result of a mill accident. I work from home and am a caregiver for certain things. A small price for our beautiful life together. That combined with this latest, slight change in her appearance has her deeply troubled now. I’m doing what I can to comfort her. She’s tight with her mum, my mum, my sis, and our nieces, too. Dog and cats have been hovering close. They always seem to know you’re hurting, eh? Isn’t that something?

Sorry for the fuss. Many thanks again for your love and support,

J and L
