Does Intermittent Fasting Work With Bodybuilding?

First off, what’s your definition of “bodybuilding?” When I hear this term, I think of the OBSESSIVE act of building muscle appearance to the maximum size possible through persistent (daily) weight lifting, taking endless supplements, and flexing in front of a mirror. I’ve been to a local gym enough to see the community of competition bodybuilders congregating in their little groups, taking pictures of each other, spotting each other, and exchanging tips and tricks.

Next, I want to offer a definition of bodybuilding to use for this article separate from the example given above. For the purpose of this article…

Bodybuilding is the use of physical exercise with the goal of strengthening and building muscle. Not the culture of obsessively lifting weights, tanning the body, wearing a bikini in front of judges, and taking pictures of your odd muscles that non-bodybuilders don’t even know about.
