After a grueling few months we launched Eato.

It may sound a bit cliché, why would we go into food ordering?

Online food ordering is not as trivial as it sounds. The mightyweights, grubhub, foodpanda, etc seem to follow something else to get your order to restaurants.

When you order food online, you want your food as fast as possible. It’s like being an insanely fast messenger. It’s kind of pointless to use a call center to send orders in. Likewise e-mail and sms/pager systems are one way streets. How do you know your order has been dispatched?

In our first version of http://eato.co.in, we’ve put a lot of effort into making sure a restaurant can get an order from you, and that you can know they’ve actually got it. Heck you can even track it as it makes it’s way to you, or if its in the kitchen
