A cup of tea and Bangalore’s awesome weather
You are sitting by your desk, you see some dark clouds from that inviting window of your office and your inner child wishes to rush home and call it a day off. Suddenly, Bangalore, the city of promises and opportunities experiences downpour in a weird month called November. You are confused: “Is winter coming?” or “Is the weather department of Universe working on auto-pilot mode?”

Nevertheless, to save yourself from viral fever, you call a cab but, the rain has decided to be ruthless. You manage to fight your way to your humble abode but who can win against traffic! If only someone could prepare piping hot pakoras for you! You yearn for mom made food and a cup of her special adrak wali chai. You get nostalgic about her lectures on benefits of tea. How lovingly your health conscious Mom had told you: “Tea reduces chances of heart attack, and it even keeps your body hydrated. Tea even provides endurance to your body, child! A cup of tea can fix your life.” You chuckle and WhatsApp: “Miss you. It’s raining here, Mom!”

Drenched by the deadlines and unwelcomed clouds, you reach home. Almost nonchalantly, you prepare a cup of adrak wali chai, Maggi and watch those pearls of droplets that rain has left as a gift on your window pane. A cup of tea and Bangalore’s awesome weather make you smile from ear to ear.
